How to connect via SSH with a Certificate
In this article, you will learn how to establish an SSH connection with a Certificate Key using Termius. Discover how to add an existing Certificate to Termius and create a new host for connection.
Prerequisites
You’ll need the corresponding server details for SSH connection, such as the IP address or hostname, SSH port, username, and Certificate.
Also, make sure you have the latest Termius version on your device (available on macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android)

Add a Certificate
Navigate to Settings -> Keychain.
Click on the Certificate button.
Paste your private key and certificate into the corresponding fields.

Add a Host
Navigate to Hosts and click the New Host button.

In the New Host form that appears, provide the following details:
IP address
Port - the default SSH port is 22. Leave empty for default or specify a custom port.
Username
Click the Certificate button.
Select a certificate from a list of available Certificates.

Hit the Connect button.

Once the first connection starts to a host, Termius prompts you to add a fingerprint to known hosts; press the Add and Continue to establish a connection. If something goes wrong, Termius shows you a connection log, which you can use to troubleshoot your connection.
