Identities

Storing your credentials in multiple places often means constant copying and pasting. Engineers usually manage multiple sets of credentials for server access, sudo, or databases, which leads to frequent switching between SSH clients and password managers.
Termius solves this with Identities. An Identity stores a username, password, and key. You can link an Identity to any host or group once, saving time during connection and preventing duplication of credentials. When a password or key changes, you only update the Identity, not each host.
You can store any credentials in Identities, such as separate MySQL logins or root user credentials. Simply create the Identity and keep everything in one place. Identities are stored in Vaults, which provide strong encryption and security. Vaults also let you sync and share credentials, ensuring you and your team can access them on any device.
Termius Autocomplete supports pasting passwords from Identities. Whenever a password prompt appears, you’ll see a suggestion to insert the stored password. To enable Autocomplete, go to Settings
→ Terminal
→ Autocomplete
