Local Terminal

To create a new tab with the Local Terminal, click the Terminal button on the Hosts screen, or pressCmd+L (Mac) or Ctrl+L(Win and Linux).

Change Local Shell

By default, the local terminal uses a shell specified in the system's settings. Follow the steps to change the shell:

1. Navigate to Settings -> Terminal

2. Choose the preferred shell in the Local Terminal Path section.

ⓘ Termius from the Mac App Store and Snap Store do not include the Local Terminal feature due to sandbox limitations. Download Termius from the website for macOS, Windows, or Linux, to use Local Terminal.
